What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website can install on your device to store information. Browser local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) serves a similar function and is subject to the same transparency rules as cookies, under Article 22 of the LSSI-CE and the ePrivacy Regulation.

What this site actually uses

By default, this website sets no HTTP cookies (only the Microsoft Clarity cookies described below are set, and only if you accept them). Its basic operation uses exclusively the browser's local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) to remember strictly technical preferences of the user:

  • Light/dark theme preference.
  • Sound on/off preference.
  • Preferred project index view (grid or list).
  • Session flag to avoid repeating the loading animation within the same visit.
  • Scroll position when navigating between pages, to restore it when going back.

Scope of this storage

None of this data identifies the user, is shared with third parties, or is used for advertising or profiling purposes. All of this information stays in your own browser and you can delete it at any time from its settings.

Measurement and analytics

Cookieless measurement (no consent required): the site uses Vercel Analytics, an aggregate and anonymous statistics tool that sets no cookies and stores no data in your browser, does not identify the user and allows no cross-site tracking. As it accesses no information stored on your device, it falls outside the consent duty of Article 22.2 LSSI-CE; it is mentioned here for transparency.

Statistics with cookies (only with your consent): if you accept the Statistics category in the cookie panel, the site activates Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.), which generates heatmaps and anonymous session recordings to improve usability. Clarity sets the following cookies:

  • _clck (≈ 1 year): Clarity user identifier for this site.
  • _clsk (≈ 1 day): groups the page views of one session into a recording.
  • CLID (≈ 1 year): identifies this browser's first visit for Clarity.
  • ANONCHK (≈ 10 minutes): anonymous check; flags that the identifier is not used for advertising.
  • MR (≈ 7 days): tells Microsoft whether to refresh the MUID identifier.
  • MUID (≈ 13 months): unique Microsoft identifier shared across Microsoft services.
  • SM (session): synchronises the MUID identifier across Microsoft domains.

Withdrawing statistics consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” (in the footer or at the end of this policy). When you disable the Statistics category, Clarity stops running immediately and its cookies reachable from this domain are deleted. We use no other advertising or third-party tracking tool (for example, Google Analytics or Meta Pixel); should one ever be added, this policy will be updated and prior consent requested.

Legal basis

The use of strictly technical storage necessary for the site to function is exempt from the duty to obtain consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE. Non-essential storage (preferences, cookie-based statistics such as Microsoft Clarity) is only activated after obtaining the user's informed and express consent through the cookie panel, where it can be accepted, rejected or configured by category with equal ease. Consent is stored with its date and version, and will be requested again if anything relevant changes.

How to manage or delete this data

You can delete the local storage of this or other websites from your browser's privacy settings (usually under «Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data» or equivalent). Note that clearing this data will reset your theme, sound and view preferences to their default values.

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookies policy to reflect technical or legislative changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
